This started off as a movement in a piece for string quartet. I quickly discovered, however, that I could not hire a quartet to even record the piece for less than $400 a musician in Houston. It was then that I rewrote the piece for String Bass and Piano. The recording is from my graduate recital at University of Houston in 2010.
